Chris Dannen of FastCompany blogged his thoughts on the release in anticipation of the new TLD. Dannen believes that the release of a new domain extension will contribute to the revival of cybersquatting. It is a pity Dannen, like many others, bought the idea that cybersquatting just buy and sell domain names, or simply to own more than one area. He cites the example of Iraq war veterans and a friend of his who bought and sold the domain names in addition to his income. I am not sure this is one of his own, and operate on buying domain names and their sales are not very cybersquatting. Cybersquatting is illegal. Speculating on the domain is not. Owners of thousands of domains is not. Sell Domains is not.
Dannen also buys in the message that appears to be a movement of the introduction of new TLDs forward Internet leaves memorable domain names. ” Very unlikely, given the amount of DM, we are now, language, and variations of words and names that are created each day. Even the name of Ipod, the name he uses for his part, does not mean only 7 years earlier.
